So who is excited (or apprehensive) about the upcoming season? I have to say, I was disappointed with a lot of season six - it was not exactly a season where I attentively got every episode bought and downloaded. This season is going to be a short season, but I feel like if they actually in spite of everything get a good season together that it might just sit all right with me.
And I mean, I'm excited for a pick-up of what the last season ended with regardless... It had many (and me) pretty apprehensive, and while I'm still not sure what they did was smart, I've also just been more excited at this point to get a taste of what is going on!

Bones got pregnant with Booth at the end, which infuriated me and even though I'm a little excited now (Booth and Brennan, yay!) I'm just... apprehensive. After last season I'm worried they're just not able to make good episodes anymore. But they might be motivated to work extra hard with this episode, because the season is going to be short. (Emily Deschanel really is having a baby.)
So I'm going to give it a chance when it starts airing, but I'm not really expecting anything.
I have more hopes about it than House. I basically gave up on House after last season... I feel like the shortened season and the pregnancy (even if it was done out of convenience) might really force the directing/writing hand to actually move forward with the Booth/Bones relationship and then maybe they can actually go back to exploring plot instead of dragging it out. That's my optimistic hope, anyway.
A big part of the reason I stopped watching is that Bones wasn't the smart, capable person she had been at the beginning. Sure, she was always a little bewildered by human motivations, but the person she was at the beginning of the show wouldn't have thought the show about those people in Jersey was a documentary. Did that change at all?
But then this other episode they act like the interns and other people are questioning her morality and decency as a person because she is so disconnected from other people.
I think with Angela having gone through her own pregnancy and realizing she wanted relationships and people and stuff, things like that will hopefully... die down. Some of that stuff is just put out as a gimmick, though, and I'm usually pretty good at ignoring that.
Anyway, I'm just going to wait and see...
